The archive included seven 'filze' of letters entitled Consular Letters. The correspondence was incorporated into the Consular Grand Ducal correspondence of Genoa. The files, in this case, were bound in a 'small band' or inserted in a blanket with the heading 'consolari'. One has to wonder whether by the term 'filza', the writer of the document in this case meant fascicle.
