Search tips

The search in the system can be fulfilled in different ways. We want just to remind the easiest

  • browsing the titles of the "archivial descriptions" (see over this page under the button: Browse). The classic, expandable, hierarchical tree view can be found here
  • browsing the titles of the "archivial descriptions" (see over this page under the button: Browse) by word, free text, on the entire set of documentation (Button: Search - Global search) or by selecting a part of it - a fund, a time range, a set of files, etc. (Button: Search - Advanced search).
  • browsing the authority records (see over this page under the button: Browse) by word/words, free text, on the entire set of authority records through the "Advanced search".
  • browsing the index entries suggested by the system (Browse: keywords, functions, archival institutions).
A guide to use the advanced search interface can be found here and here
The data that appear on the left side of the page, in dynamic mode, allow you to navigate across the funds.

The work is in progress; data may look sometime inhomogeneous. I am grateful since now to all those who will report inaccuracies or "shortcomings".
